Join Beth Moulam, plenary speaker on Tuesday 13th September 2022 in the afternoon to hear about how she transferred AAC skills into sporting success. Beth is a multi-modal communicator who has used high tech AAC since she was 4 years old. 2021 was a year when Beth’s dreams collided, she graduated from the University of York in Social Policy and represented Great Britain at boccia in the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics. Beth is honoured to be invited to lead this session and claims the experiences of becoming a proficient user of AAC were instrumental in achieving world class athlete status in her chosen sport.
